A new chapter Begins: JV Price becomes JVP

For more than 50 years, our name has been synonymous with quality, reliability and expertise in window cleaning and specialist cleaning at height. Today, we’re proud to mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter as JV Price rebrands to JVP

While our name may be evolving, our values, people and commitment to excellence remain exactly the same.

    Built on a proud heritage

The original JV Price name was created from our founder, whose vision, dedication and entrepreneurial spirit laid the foundations for the business we know today.

Over the decades, the company has grown from a local family business into a trusted national service provider, delivering specialist cleaning solutions across the UK. We continue to build on the reputation for quality, professionalism and customer service that has defined us for over half a century.

As we’ve evolved, so too has our brand. Whilst we’ve seen some brand iterations over the years, the time had come for an identity that better reflects the scale, capability and ambition of the business today.

    Why JVP?

The decision to simplify our trading name to JVP was driven by both heritage and future ambition.

The three initials maintain a direct connection to our founder and the Price family, preserving the brand recognition and trust that has been built over five decades. At the same time, JVP positions us as the modern, professional services organisation we have become.

The new name reflects a business that operates nationally, delivers increasingly complex specialist services, and continues to invest in people, technology and innovation.

It represents who we are today, while honouring where we came from.

A brand that reflects our approach

Our new visual identity has been designed to be clean, simple and bold

The design reflects our straightforward, easy-to-work-with approach, while also conveying the professionalism, expertise and confidence that underpin everything we do. Behind the simplicity of the brand sits a depth of experience that has been built over 50 years, supported by industry-leading health and safety standards, specialist accreditations and technical expertise.

Whether cleaning high-rise commercial properties, operating in complex environments or delivering specialist access solutions, our customers trust us to complete challenging projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

The new JVP identity captures that balance perfectly: approachable and straightforward on the surface, backed by serious capability and expertise.

    Charlie Price commented:

“The rebrand to JVP is more than a new logo or a new name. It signals our ambition for the future.

As our business continues to grow, we remain committed to delivering the exceptional service, technical excellence and trusted partnerships that have made us one of the UK’s leading providers of window cleaning and specialist cleaning at height services.

Most importantly, this evolution reflects the energy and ambition of our team. Every member of JVP has played a part in our journey so far, and we’re excited about what comes next.

While our name has changed, our commitment remains unchanged.”

  • JVP Moves Forward with Fleet Replacement and Van Electrification

JVP Moves Forward with Fleet Replacement and Van Electrification

A phased investment programme will modernise JVP’s vehicles and introduce electric vans wherever operationally practical.

JVP is embarking on a comprehensive fleet replacement programme, designed to modernise the vehicles that support our teams and customers every day. A central part of this investment is the electrification of all vans where it is practical to do so, helping us reduce the environmental impact of our operations while maintaining the dependable service our customers expect.

    A phased approach

The programme will be delivered in phases, as existing vehicles reach the appropriate point in their lifecycle. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, each replacement will be assessed against the work it needs to perform. Daily mileage, payload, route profile, charging access and the availability of suitable electric models will all be considered before a decision is made.

The importance of an electric fleet

Where the operational case is right, electric vans can offer clear benefits: lower emissions, quieter journeys and reduced reliance on fossil fuels. Newer vehicles also provide improved comfort and reliability for colleagues who spend a significant part of their working day on the road. By linking electrification with planned fleet renewal, JVP can make progress in a responsible, commercially sound way.

Operational continuity remains essential. The transition will therefore be supported by careful route planning, charging arrangements and ongoing reviews of vehicle performance. Where today’s electric options cannot yet meet a particular operational requirement, JVP will select the most efficient and suitable alternative and revisit electrification as vehicle and charging technology develops.

    Prioritising our team

Our drivers and operational teams will play an important role throughout the process. Their feedback on range, charging, carrying capacity and day-to-day usability will help shape future purchasing decisions.

Data from the new vehicles will also allow us to understand real-world performance and refine how electric vans are deployed across the business.

    The long-term approach

This is a long-term programme rather than a single changeover, and its progress will be measured over time. As more vehicles are replaced and more routes become suitable for electrification, the proportion of electric vans in the JVP fleet will continue to grow.

Fleet renewal is one practical element of JVP’s wider commitment to running a more efficient and sustainable business. It also supports customers who are increasingly focused on the environmental impact of their supply chains. By investing in cleaner transport wherever possible, we can reduce our operational footprint while continuing to deliver consistently and safely.

We look forward to sharing further updates as vehicles enter service and the programme develops. For JVP, this investment is about more than replacing vans: it is about building a safer, smarter and lower-impact fleet that is ready to support our people, our customers and the future of the business.

  • JVP marks our 10 year anniversary as an IRATA operating member following a successful summer audit

JVP marks our 10 year anniversary as an IRATA operating member following a successful summer audit

JVP is proud to have maintained membership status with the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA), the global authority for industrial rope access, for 10 years, following the successful completion of our latest audit this summer. The milestone recognises a decade of sustained commitment to the principles and working practices that underpin safe and effective industrial rope-access operations.

The IRATA membership is not a one-off achievement. Maintaining it requires consistent attention to detail across every aspect of our rope-access operations, including training, equipment, planning, supervision, documentation, and operational delivery.

While IRATA membership is not a legal requirement for providers, becoming a member company is widely recognised as a benchmark for best practice within the industry. We undergo an independent audit every three years to ensure we are meeting these high standards. Regular independent audits provide an important opportunity to rigorously test our processes and procedures, ensuring they remain effective, robust and fit for purpose. More importantly, they allow us to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and strengthen the standards we apply across our rope access operations.

Craig Deamer, JVP’s Technical Authority and HSQE Director, leads the technical governance behind the company’s rope-access activities. Working closely with his peers across the industry and colleagues within the business, he helps ensure that procedures remain robust, teams are fully supported, and valuable lessons from day-to-day operations are captured, shared, and used to continually strengthen future delivery.

A combined effort is central to JVP’s approach. Before anyone sets foot on a roof, safety protocols and strict preparation steps must be fully established to prevent falls and serious injury, therefore the risks are assessed, working methods are established, rescue arrangements are reviewed, and the appropriate personnel and equipment are allocated.

On site, our trained rope-access teams put these protocols into practice, maintaining clear communication, following established procedures, and working safely within the conditions and environment they encounter. This structured approach ensures that safety remains at the forefront of every operation, from initial planning through to completion.

    Craig Deamer commented:

“Maintaining our IRATA membership for 10 years is something I am extremely proud of. It represents a huge amount of work by the whole team—not only by the rope access technicians delivering the day-to-day safety, but also by the colleagues in the office whose planning, coordination, record-keeping and support make that delivery possible. Our latest audit is a credit to their professionalism and to the standards they uphold throughout the year.”

For our customers, rope access provides a cost-effective and safe alternative to conventional access methods, while our continued status as an IRATA Operating Member provides additional reassurance that our rope-access operations are delivered within recognised industry standards and subject to regular independent scrutiny.
