JVP: Setting the standard
Our specialist teams and the specialised equipment they use, allow us to offer a broad range of services to help our clients keep their buildings clean inside and out.
Working at height outside gives us access to spaces that we can then help clean and maintain as necessary. Bird proofing, for example, is a service that we deliver because it makes sense for us to install spikes and nets when we are already working in the spaces they would be applied to.
High-level internal cleaning
As well as building exteriors, we also help to keep building interiors looking their best, most typically internal glass atriums, specialist surfaces, or anything at height where access equipment is necessary to reach that a company’s normal cleaners just can’t get to.
Utilising specialist equipment such as internal BMUs, spiders, scissor lifts or scaffold towers, we dust and clean high-level atriums, glass walls, ceiling fittings, suspended lighting, and more challenging spaces like lifts and lift shafts. For one client, we even clean valuable, ceiling-suspended racing cars.
When particular types of surface, like marble or aluminium need specialist cleaning equipment, we provide it and the personnel trained to use it.
Pressure washing and steam cleaning
We operate a fleet of purpose built, van mounted commercial pressure washing units. The units are flexible because they can produce a pressure between 500psi and 3500psi for high pressure cleaning, and temperatures from 10–150 degrees for hot water pressure washing. The units are self-contained with on-board diesel engines, generators and water tanks. If needed, we can also collect the waste water from the works and pump it to a specified drain (or tank) to remove from site, or filter/recycle it for continued use.
With many different lances and attachments, we can carry out industrial pressure washing or steam cleaning services to any surface.
For jobs carried out on sensitive stone works and facades, we also operate DOFF, TORC and TORICK systems.
Graffiti removal
Graffiti is a real problem in and around urban areas, particularly in its targeting of commercial properties and stone structures.
By using specialist hot and cold high-pressure washing equipment in conjunction with environmentally friendly biodegradable graffiti removal chemicals, it is possible to remove graffiti from all types of porous or non-porous surfaces without damaging the underlying facade. We can remove graffiti from brick, stone, metal, plastic, glass and wood. We can also apply anti-graffiti coatings to help prevent further damage to your building.
Chewing gum removal
JVP provides a nationwide service for chewing gum removal to town centres, retail parks, car parks, train and bus stations, supermarkets, and any other places where there is a chewing gum problem.
Our chewing gum removal machine, which uses high pressure steam to dissolve the gum, is capable of recovering 97% of the water used, making this the most environmentally friendly operation available. The water we recycle is filtered, removing suspended particles down to five microns, at a rate of up to 55 litres per minute. The remaining contaminated sludge is removed from the site for environmental disposal, with no risk of re-contamination.
Drainage
We can offer a full drain service from clearing a blocked down pipe, to pipe lining and repair.

Pest control and prevention (pigeon spikes)
Bird proofing
We can prevent and cure feral bird problems. Our solutions include Bird-Net, Bird-Wire and Bird-Spike. We also offer a falconry service for very large areas not suitable for physical proofing. Our pressure washing capabilities are ideal for cleaning areas that have been fouled by roosting or nesting birds.
Pest control
At JVP we professionally treat all pests including rats, mice and insects. Our fully trained pest control officers will survey the infestation, then place poison bait in the most appropriate locations. Follow-up visits will take place to ensure the success of the treatment.
