Window
cleaning

Eco-friendly, chemical-free cleaning from ground level using pure water and reverse osmosis for spotless, streak-free results – safe, fast, and ideal for up to mid-level buildings.

We run a large fleet of vehicles with a combination of water fed pole systems, cold water systems and hot systems for cladding cleans. Each van carries a number of poles up to 80ft. This makes it possible to clean windows and cladding up to 6-7 storeys without having to leave the floor.

The reach and wash system consists of a seven stage water treatment system that produces 100% pure graded water. The treatment process utilises reverse osmosis and mixed bed de-mineralising resin to produce the pure water. No detergents or chemicals are needed during the process that make it very environmentally friendly.

BMUs (building maintenance units / cradles)

Perfect for buildings with installed cradle systems. We operate, maintain, and clean using these for large-scale, precise exterior work on modern high-rises.

If your building has a cradle runway system, then our trained operatives can clean your windows from your cradle. We are fully insured in the use of cradles, with no height limit.

Once on-site formalisation and training has been carried out with our team, we will use the cradle runaway system to work our way around the building to have your windows gleaming.

We also work closely with Access Testing to offer clients a combined solution on the maintenance, testing and use of the cradle systems.

Ideal for high-rise and hard-to-reach areas. Our in-house Rope Access teams work safely with no height limits, accessing areas that seem impossible by other access methods.

Cleaning the windows of high-rise buildings utilising industrial ropes and abseiling techniques is an approach we commonly employ for our clients. One of the major advantages it has, over other cleaning methods at height, is in its simple application in sometimes very difficult and challenging locations.

Our operatives are fully trained to IRATA and British Standards codes of practice, so while this method of cleaning often looks quite dramatic, our people are completely safe. For many of our team, this kind of window cleaning is what they enjoy the most about their roles.

MEWPs and trucks

We have invested in state-of-the-art access equipment specially built with window cleaning in mind. With a fleet of truck mounted access platforms ranging from 20m 3.5tn all the way up to our flagship Bronto Skylift 52m XDT, scissor lifts, self-propelled booms, personnel lifts and spiders. This makes us very different to most high-level window cleaning contractors that have to pay high one-off hire rates from leading access equipment hire firms.

Our operatives are trained for work at height and have IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) licences for:

  • Static Vertical (1a, 1a+): Vertical personnel platforms (static)
  • Static Boom (1b, 1b+): Self-propelled booms (outriggers), trailers/push-arounds, vehicle-mounted platforms
  • Mobile Vertical (3a, 3a+): Scissor lifts, vertical personnel platforms (mobile)
  • Mobile Boom (3b, 3b+): Self-propelled booms
  • Push Around Vertical (PAV): Push around verticals

The management team has the IPAF ‘MEWPs For Managers’ accreditation which covers health and safety regulations, accident prevention and control, personal protection, correct selection of access platform hire for the needed task, emergency procedures, safe operation and correct selection of fall protection equipment.

Latchway and eyebolts

If your building requires Class A1 anchor devices, often referred to as ‘eye bolts’ or ‘window cleaning eye bolts’ for high level operations, then our operatives are fully trained to use them. We utilise the correct safety harness conforming to BS EN361 and safety lanyards conforming to BS EN 354/355/358) (Work Restraint, Fall Arrest & Work Positioning).

With many duty holders now employing collective fall protection systems and meeting their legal obligations by following the hierarchy of controls, we offer installation and maintenance contracts through one of our service partners, making it possible to offer a complete service.

We believe this is the best option for you as it eliminates poor communication issues and makes the working practice safer to have the company (that uses the fall protection systems) also overseeing the service and maintenance contract.
